SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP - GUARANTEE OF MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL COOPERATION
Tajikistan Development Foundation within the project "Strengthening of Civil Society through consolidation and coordination of Civil Society’s institutions", financed by the British Government through the Aga Khan Foundation, continues to hold Round tables on Social Partnership in the cities and districts of Tajikistan. A series of next Round tables have been recently held in Kurgonteppa, Tursunzoda, Faizobod and Jaloliddini Rumi cities and districts, where have actively taken part the representatives of non-governmental organizations, local executive bodies of state authority, entrepreneurs and media. Participants discussed issues regarding the improvement of mutually beneficial cooperation between the various institutions of Civil Society on solution of vital social problems in local areas, as well as exchanged their opinions on various aspects of this problem.
- We appreciate the contribution of NGOs in solution of social problems and are always ready to cooperate with them - said Safarbek Nurov, the Chairman of the Executive Office of Faizobod Hukumat (government) district at the beginning of the event, where we took part also representatives of Vahdat, Rudaki and Rogun districts.
During the meeting the participants were presented with reports On NGO’s Social Partnership with other institutions of Civil Society done by Shamsiddin Karimov, Chairman of the Tajikistan National NGO Association and Bahodur Kosimov, a member of the Tajikistan National NGO Association board and Director of NGO Academy of Mass Communication.
